We’re at the halfway mark till our next Mardi Gras can you believe it! Earlier this year, our  Phygitize Krewe (Zach Sokolski #8, Graham Holly #11 & Cheria Scaffidi #84) showed up to The Nieux to explore the Mardi Gras through a web3 lens.

Collaborating with Muses rider Alyssa Rambeau and shoe artists Christy Duhon and Michele Ogara, we 3D scanned four coveted shoes, memorialized them as NFTs, and tossed them in front of The Nieux as the first phygital throws at Mardi Gras!

We also set up shop on The Nieux’s stage for our an experience called the JankyVerse, where we 3D scanned the community dancing in their costumes as the parades rolled by!

We will be showcasing the JankyVerse NFTs and a limited edition AR poster commemorating the event on Thursday September 14. Come celebrate with us and see how to engage communities through phygital!
